Trey Songz Gears Up for Cingular Wireless Black College Tour

Trey Songz Breaks Circuit City In Store Signing Sales Record

Trey Songz on July 26 broke the Circuit City in-store sales record previously set by label mate Yolanda Adams. The previous record was 465 and Trey Songz finished at a strong 574. Circuit City also reported that the Trey Songz album I Gotta Make It counted for nearly 20% of the sales that day. Great job fans and way to go Atlantic sales team for making this in-store a roaring success!

Trey Songz Takes Hip Hop Community By Storm!

Trey Songz is becoming a staple in the hip-hop community. Crowned the "New Prince Of R&B" Trey has been called on by hip-hop heavy weights Jim Jones (Dip Set), Twista, Juvenile, Trina, Paul Wall, Obie Trice, Ebony Eyes, Trick Daddy, and Santana (Dip Set) to lace their up coming albums with his catchy hooks and hot r&b vocals. Jim Jones's "Summer Wit Miami" is blowing up on radio and Twista's new single "Girl Tonight" is sure to be a Fall Smash!!!

Kevin Lyttle Now Platinum!

Atlantic Records recording artist Kevin Lyttle debuted at number 8 with a bullet on the Billboard top 200 charts back earlier this summer. Scanning more than 80,000 units lead by the single "Turn Me On" this socca artist turned international star seems to have a great run ahead of him. The album is now Platinum plus worldwide. Trey Songz is featured on track number 10 with a tune called "Dance With Me". Congratulation to Trey Songz & Troy Taylor for writing three of the songs on the album. Also we would like to congratulate Zeke Lewis for co-writing one of the songs with the Songbook writing team.

Trey Songz Featured on Label Mate's Gerald Levert' s Second Single "What Happened to The Loving"

Trey Songz will be featured on Gerald Levert' s new single "What Happened to The Loving" impacting radio around Christmas. Gerald's new album Do I Speak For The World is due in store November 30th. The song produced and written by Troy Taylor & Gordon Chambers was a industry dream come true. "It was amazing being able to work with a r&b great like Gerald and in the same breathe produce a song that includes his father Eddie Levert and my artist Trey Songz. Now tell me God is not good."

PATTI LABELLE & THE ISLEY BROTHERS DUET "GOTTA GO SOLO"

Rising fast on the charts is the new Patti Labelle & The Isley Brothers hit "Gotta Go Solo" written by Gordon Chambers & Troy Taylor. When you ask Troy Taylor how it feels to have produced these legendary artist on one record the answer is simply "It was a blessing from GOD." What is also amazing is that both of these acts are signed under DEFJAM CLASSICS. This should be a cake walk for their new CEO LA Reid and his staff.
