Ezekial (Zeke) Lewis
Singer/Songwriter
"Without inspiration there is no creativity."

Born in Montgomery, Alabama Ezekiel Lewis (Zeke) knew he was destined to be a famous musician. Zeke's interest in music began at the early age of three with home tape recordings. By the age of five he was singing lead in the children's choir and also studying piano. Continuing his involvement in music throughout his adolescent years, Zeke made a decision to dedicate his life to making music. With that, Zeke moved to Atlanta, Georgia to further his career and soon developed his songwriting skills that landed him a deal with Hitco Music Publishing. Zeke credits his influences for his love of music and for the development of his sound: "You must be inspired. Without inspiration there is no creativity." Artist such as Marvin Gaye, Lionel Richie, Quincy Jones, Antonio L.A. Reid, Kenneth ‘Babyface' Edmonds and David Foster are among the role models that have helped shape Zeke's musical creativity. Following in those footsteps he states, “With every song I write I try to outdo the last. I want my work to be legendary." Zeke quickly became a sought after songwriter in the Atlanta area, working with many artists at LaFace Records including TLC, Pink and the Youngbloodz. His affiliation with these artists opened doors for many other projects including that of Arista-UK artists Damage and Martay on Atlantic-UK.

Zeke's creative acclaim also landed him projects with David Foster's company 143 Records distributed by Atlantic Records. "I was playing songs for an artist and they offered me a recording deal. Within a week I received a contract for an artist deal and here we are." After recording his album Zeke decided because of label issues not to be an artist anymore. Zeke decided that staying behind the scenes and writing hits was his true calling. Following Zeke leaving 143 Records Zeke has written for Luther Vandross Grammy award winning album “Dance With My Father”. Zeak also worked on Osmosis Jones Sound Track, All Saints, Patti Labelle, Kevin Lyttle, The Mighty OJay’s, and Trey Songz. Zeke’s talent not just includes writing but production and vocal arrangements. Zeke got the opportunity to produce vocal arrangements on Whitney Houston’s 2003 Chris Album “One Wish”. Zeke's future looks brighter than ever these days. When asked how he would like people to remember his music Zeke stated “People just know I write my music with all sincerity.”
